Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our HVAC, plumbing, and electrical business. This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring our team performs at its best. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team leadership, a talent for motivating and developing people, and a deep understanding of service and install operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Leadership & Team Development: 

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers that oversee technicians, customer service representatives, and support staff. 

• Foster a positive work culture that encourages professional growth and high performance. 

• Identify and nurture talent within the team, providing opportunities for advancement and skill development. 

Operational Management: 

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards and safety regulations. 

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and service quality. 

• Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and schedules to meet company objectives. 

Customer Satisfaction: 

• Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of quality and responsiveness. 

• Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively. 

Process Improvement: 

• Analyze operational processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. 

• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. 

Compliance & Reporting: 

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. 

• Prepare and present reports on operational performance, including key metrics and areas for improvement. 

Qualifications: 

Experience: 

• Proven experience in a leadership role within HVAC/plumbing/electrical or similar technical field. 

• Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams, with a focus on professional development and employee engagement. 

Skills: 

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. 

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges. 

• Solid understanding of HVAC/plumbing/electrical systems, industry standards, and safety regulations. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must. 

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must.  

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. 

• Relevant certifications or training in HVAC/plumbing/electrical systems and management are a plus.
