Position Overview
At Air Distribution Technologies, Inc., our Staff Packaging Engineers design innovative solutions to ensure product safety, reduce costs, and support global logistics. This role offers opportunities to lead impactful projects across multiple facilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging Solutions Design : Lead the design and development of efficient packaging materials, processes, and systems that optimize logistics, minimize costs, and ensure product protection.
- Damage Control : Monitor freight damage metrics and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues, contributing to a reduction in product damage during transportation.
- Packaging Standards Development : Create, document, and enforce packaging standards that align with the company’s operational excellence and quality objectives.
- Compliance & Sustainability : Ensure packaging meets international regulatory requirements, including those for dangerous goods, and develop sustainable solutions that align with long-term environmental goals.
- Project Management : Lead packaging projects from concept to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with product launch timelines.
- Collaboration & Influence : Work effectively across a large matrixed organization, influencing internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing, logistics, and governmental agencies, to ensure packaging designs meet the needs of all parties.
