Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and organized Recruiter / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position is essential in ensuring a smooth recruitment process and providing excellent front desk service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling new hire orientation, managing walk-in applicants, and supporting various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors, employees, and walk-in applicants.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Recruitment:
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and company website.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews.
- Maintain candidate databases and track recruitment metrics.
New Hire Orientation:
- Prepare and conduct new hire orientation sessions.
- Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Provide new employees with necessary information about company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Additional HR Support:
- Assist with employee record-keeping and file management.
- Support HR team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Participate in HR meetings and training sessions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
- Office environment within a manufacturing facility.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials.
