🔹 About the Role:
We’re looking for a Regulatory & Production Design Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 5 engineers. This role is critical in ensuring our louver products comply with industry standards (AMCA, Miami Dade, FBC, TDI, UL, etc.) while driving efficiency and standardization in product design. You'll play a key role in regulatory compliance, new product certification, and production design enhancements.
🔹 What You’ll Do:
✨ Regulatory & Accreditation Leadership
✅ Manage and oversee all accreditation and regulatory processes, ensuring timely certifications and filings.
✅ Lead internal code compliance training and keep the business updated on evolving industry standards.
✅ Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to support new product launches and testing.
✅ Work closely with third-party testing agencies, technical committees, and external partners to strengthen compliance and accreditation strategies.
✨ Production Design & Team Leadership
✅ Oversee design standardization, engineering calculations, and customer follow-ups to enhance product efficiency.
✅ Utilize ASCE/ICC codes to improve wind, snow, and seismic load calculations for product development.
✅ Implement VBA template automation to enhance department efficiency.
✅ Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, working closely with the drafting team.
✅ Lead budgeting, hiring, training, and performance management within the engineering team.
🔹 What You Bring:
✔ B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
✔ 5–7 years of experience in engineering, compliance, or product design
✔ Strong understanding of building codes & regulatory bodies (AMCA, ASCE, ICC, FEMA, UL, FBC, TDI, etc.)
✔ Ability to analyze technical drawings, regulatory updates, and market trends to drive product innovation
✔ Experience with AutoCAD, RISA, Mathcad, or similar design software
✔ Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and optimize processes
