What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead Trainer position at Air Distribution Technologies, Inc.?
Ensures effective implementation and ongoing effectiveness of high performance teams within assigned manufacturing facility. Directs the high performance team process, manages the formation of high performance teams, and tracks certification processes. This position is responsible to develop, deliver, and lead skills training for new hires and continuing education of existing staff. The objective of the position is to Increase the skill level of the employees.
How you will do it:
- Resolve current and future employee training needs, assess, and improve training materials, and directly lead training sessions with employees on site.
- Collaborate with engineers and management to identify training needs, map out development plans for teams and individuals.
- Responsible for leading, crafting, developing, coordinating, conducting, and maintaining records for all training programs.
- Develop training for all the departments within the facility.
- Establish processes and tools to maintain current employee training records, skills matrices, and training plans, with a focus on electronic/digital management.
- Conduct/support new hire orientation training.
- Provide new hires with study materials and coordinate periodic training surveys.
- Provide trainee evaluations throughout the training program based on operator, trainer, and staff evaluations.
- Support cross training targets/initiatives working closely with operations management to coordinate upcoming training to support lab operations.
- Support continuous improvement activities to implement standard methodologies and training.
What we look for:
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 Years suggested minimum experience.
- Work experience as a production supervisor, trainer٫ Facilitator or similar role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
- Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
- Ability to exercise influence without authority.
- Ability to think strategically, envision future states and inspire change.
- Candidate must be well organized and capable of leading numerous challenging priorities.
- Preferred experience working in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to be proactive, follow up and follow through around regular activities along with future projects.
- Be able to use good judgement and build rapport with diverse internal and external clientele.
