The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Auditor GS-0511-07 or GS-0511-09 target GS-0511-12 to work at Air Force Audit Agency (AFAA) at Buckley SFB in Aurora, CO.
This is a developmental position with known promotion potential to the full performance grade of GS-12 and can be filled at either grade level GS-07 or GS-09.

- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Secret Security clearance
- Education requirements: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0500/auditing-series-0511/
- Experience performing a variety of routine taskings in the areas of audit planning, research, scheduling, and coordination
- Experience gathering and reviewing background information on organizations to be audited to develop an understanding of their programs, structures, policies, objectives, systems, and internal controls
- Experience carrying out standardized audit tasks and performing complete routine audit tasks under very well established conditions when no problems are anticipated
- Experience performing a variety of routine tasks in the areas of audit data analysis, preparation of conclusions and recommendations, preparation and coordination of reports, and presentation of findings
- Knowledge of basic principles, concepts, and practices of Auditing
- Knowledge and skill in applying basic principles, concepts, and practices for the occupation sufficient to perform entry-level assignments in Auditing
- Ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions
- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified; incumbent shall comply with the requirements if the certification program.

- May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall
