The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for Full-Time Construction Control Representative, (GS-0809-09) to work in support of the 628th Civil Engineer Squadron, Joint Base Charleston, Charleston, South Carolina.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a construction representative with responsibility for monitoring and controlling the construction operations of large and complex projects involving specialized electrical systems, complex mechanical systems, and/or unique structural requirements for base facilities and associated utility distribution systems.
Salary Range is $61,111 - $79,443 based on experience.

Qualification Summary
Requirements For This Position
- U.S. Citizenship
- Practical knowledge of engineering and construction inspection methods and techniques.
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of construction.
- Familiarity with inspection and safety practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans.
- Skill in using math for cost computations, contract negotiations, and maintaining records with computer programs.
