The primary purpose of this position to exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities over the 309 AMARG. Directs work activities through subordinate supervisors/leads with responsibility for providing advice, accountability, and expertise to higher management and/or senior leadership on a continuous basis. Exercises control over the organizational element by providing direction, planning, and leadership for assigned subordinate personnel. Qualifications - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Security Clearance - This may be a designated Drug Testing Position - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities 1. Mastery knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support. 2. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a medium to large sized organization. 3. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. 4.
