This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

Qualifications/Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Specialist to play a critical role in integrating Intelligence and Counterintelligence (CI) expertise with the Mission Partner Environment's core mission areas. As a key member of our team, you will serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging your knowledge to protect sensitive Department of Defense (DoD) classified information and identify potential threats to our operations.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.
• A non-disclosure agreement must be signed
• Mobility is a condition of employment. Employee must sign an Air Force wide mobility agreement.
• This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
• Integrate Intelligence and CI expertise to support the Mission Partner Environment's core mission areas, ensuring the protection of DoD classified information resident in the DoD Mission Partner Environment.
• Identify and analyze potential threats, providing sufficient specificity to enable the application of targeted countermeasures.
• Refer CI, Counter-Insider Threat, and security incidents to investigative authorities for further follow-up and resolution.
• Develop and implement effective Counterintelligence awareness programs, educating internal and external stakeholders on the importance of CI and the measures needed to prevent and mitigate threats.
• Provide expert analysis and insights to the DoD and Intelligence Community, contributing to the development of informed decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Expert Knowledge: Intelligence and CI disciplines, including collection, analysis, counterintelligence, cybersecurity, data analytics, and intelligence systems.
• Technical Expertise: Latest technologies and tools, including intelligence software, data mining, cloud computing, and geospatial intelligence.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding oral and written communication, with ability to present complex information and prepare written materials.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to plan, organize, and manage intelligence and CI mission, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Maintain Expertise: Remain up to date with the latest security operations and incident response technologies, methodologies, and best practices to stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Threat Intelligence: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by adversaries, including: -Threat actor motivations and objectives -Attack vectors and methodologies -Malware and exploit signatures -Evasion and anti-forensic techniques
• Incident Response: Stay current with incident response methodologies and technologies, including: -Threat detection and hunting -Incident containment and eradication -Post-incident activities and lessons learned
• Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain competency in security operations and incident response, and to stay current with the latest threats and technologies.
