- The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for an Interdisciplinary Environmental Program Manager (GS-0819-13) (0401 Biologist) (1301 Physical Scientist) to work at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
- Looking for an Environmental program manager to manage environmental restoration and/or compliance programs at Department of Defense installations with knowledge of environmental laws and requirements such as Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, etc.
- Salary $120,579 - $156,755
- Travel authorized up to 25%
- Relocation incentive may be available

- REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- 3-5 years’ experience requested.
- Required to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- May be required to obtain job-related certifications such as REM, AICP or Professional Engineer.
- Professional registration or license in one of the 50 states or territories is desired but not required.

- Knowledge of professional principles, practices, techniques, and procedures of the environmental laws, and regulations (NEPA, air, water, hazardous waste, pollution prevention, and Environmental Safety and Health Compliance Assessment Management Program {ESOHCAMP}, etc.) to effectively perform program management functions associated with project development. execution, training, and advisory services in compliance; pollution prevention; environmental planning including knowledge of the planning, programming, and budgeting system (PPBS).
- Knowledge of health, safety, security, and environmental regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions of the environmental division to a wide assortment of customers.
- Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
