The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time, Information Technology (IT) Specialist (GS-2210-13), to perform as the Senior Cyberspace Security Architect, at Headquarters (HQ) NORAD/USNORTHCOM (N&NC), on Peterson Space Force Base (SFB), in Colorado Springs, CO.
Salary ($108,165 - $140,616) based on experience
The purpose of this position is to perform as the senior cyberspace security IT architect for HQ N&NC in cybersecurity architecture and IT enterprise system analysis/engineering, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise structural framework to align IT strategy, plans and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization. Supports the Division in planning, organizing, and overseeing programs and activities.
Additionally, you will act on behalf of and serve as the direct advisor to the Cyberspace Plans Branch Chief within the Joint Cyber Center. It will focus on collaborating with internal & external entities/agencies to identify cyber risk to mission and develop proposed options for the Combatant Commander. This position will also be focused on leading teams to coordinate cyberspace effects operations.

Qualifications/Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Top Secret/SCI” Security clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance System Architect and Engineering (IASAE) certification within six (6) months of assigned duties.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification within six (6) months of assigned duties.
This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position

- Mastery of advanced architecture theories, principles, interrelationships of multiple technical specialties, technology architecture, new applications, emerging technologies and their applications to business processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of architecture practices as implemented in the federal government, familiarity with different organizational missions and structures, understanding of impact of national policies on service delivery.
- Ability to gather facts and use analytical and evaluative methods to assess requirements.
- Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, enterprise management software systems, project management methods, enterprise-level security standards, and operational requirements.
- Ability to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches; to assess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes.
- Ability to lead Enterprise Architecture modeling projects, controls quality of artifacts developed by others and translates information from artifacts into common vernacular; builds sound enterprise-level models of operational processes.
- Ability to conduct planning and policy development for cyberspace operations in order to operate network and information systems as well as to protect, detect, and mitigate IT and cyberspace vulnerabilities.
