The primary purpose of this position is to serves as a lead acquisition program manager and senior subject matter expert, researching, developing, and recommending new and innovative corporate policies, practices, and processes for the management of AFSC/SWAW. Perform official team lead duties over subordinate employees overseeing projects, assignments and studies encompassing acquisition programs. The Workload Shaping Branch within the Strategic Agility Division serves as the focal point for workload assignments, depot activation, and capability sourcing. This branch includes identifying core and group assignment, portfolio analysis, and direct interface with the PMO. Provide subject matter expertise and support through a holistic approach to portfolio management as the primary interface for both technical and business aspects supporting Program Executive Officers and Program Management Offices for Department of Air Force software requirements. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Security clearance - This may be a designated Drug Testing Position - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities 1. Ability to plan, organize, lead functions, mentor and motivate the staff of an organization. 2. Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing. 3. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component. Ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance. 4. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance-based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas. 5. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution. 6. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required. 7. Ability to utilize Art of the Possible concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization. 8.
