REQUIREMENTS: The primary purpose of this position is to perform Lead duties for assigned weapon systems and team members in the 406 SCMS at Tinker AFB. Serves as a central representative and subject matter expert for Item Management Control Systems (IMCS), resolving technical issues and providing expertise to support Supply Chain Management (SCM). Manages and directs all facets of IMCS operations, providing guidance and training to junior personnel. Conducts complex research on program and policy issues providing timely responses to all projects and tasking. Maintains expertise through training ensuring lower graded employees are trained. Mission Statement: Supports Wing objectives, managing the provisioning efforts for the assigned weapon systems and delegation of work to team members, ensuring the work is completed timely and accurately. Performs technical and administrative team lead duties over primarily employees on a regular and recurring basis for 25% or more of the time over subordinate positions predominantly classifiable in the General Administration, Clerical, and Office Services Group at the journey level or higher by identifying, distributing, assigning and balancing workload and tasks amongst employees by skill level, proficiency and/or occupational specialization, making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of subordinate work assignments. Consistently exercises independent judgment in directing and assigning work amongst employees by using determinative factors such as team members’ expertise, experience, competence, workload availability, work priorities and team member functional development. Monitors and intercedes with the status and progress of work on a daily basis, reviewing for technical accuracy of in-work and completed projects. Serves as project lead/manager, regularly leading a variety of project team(s) across organizational lines and conducting organizational program and process related studies and analysis of serviced organizations, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation and efficiency, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, and resource allocation. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships.
