Experience : You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as :
- Leading the development and implementation of effective and responsive human resources management, workers' compensation, health and safety, workforce training, facilities, labor and employee relations, and public affairs programs.
- Working with national office executives to develop responsive, effective policies and processes, and assures that proper services are available when and where needed.
- Monitoring and evaluating the delivery of support services to key field managers and employees, and other customers.
- Developing and implementing short and long term plans to improve the delivery of services, to add new services, delete services not needed, and to upgrade facilities to assure the best possible service is provided.
- Advising the field office manager, and other managers on the facilities portfolio for the field office and working with managers to develop overall objectives and strategies to ensure the implementation of these strategies consistent with providing and maintaining CBP facilities that meet operational need.
