Internal Medicine Physician
This position is located at one of the various Indian Health Service Hospitals or Clinics under the Navajo Area Office.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide diagnostic, preventive, and/or therapeutic services to Internal Medicine patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients with a range of internal medicine conditions.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and make referrals when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine from an accredited medical school.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in any state.
- Board certification in internal medicine or completion of a residency program in internal medicine.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
