Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing recruitment and placement services, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide recruitment and placement services to NAF activities, including procedurally processing personnel actions
- Maintain vacancy lists and announcements
- Check items for conformance to applicable laws, regulations, etc.
- Contact appropriate sources to secure missing data or documents
- Process and track security checks
- Input personnel data into the automated NAF personnel data system
Requirements:
- Applicant must have experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the pay band level of the position
- Experience that required the applicant to acquire and apply knowledge of the rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of one or more areas of a personnel system is required
- Must possess skill in dealing with the public
- Typing skills are required
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
