How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Reporting to ALAM's Internal Controller, The Inventory Control Specialist / Analyst / Manager is responsible for, advising and guiding the Site Leaders and Plant Cost & Asset Controllers about best practices for inventory management. In addition the Inventory Controller will oversee the inventory count processes and results while driving continuous improvement through the direct engagement of Plant Cost & Asset Controllers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Inventory Control
- Oversee cycle counting program for ALAM Inc. globally, ensuring high levels of inventory accuracy and ERP data integrity for all direct and indirect materials
- Develop & refine cycle counting process for ALAM inc. globally
- Drive continuous improvement in cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes to ensure timely completion and accuracy; work cross functionally to develop engagement and support
- Ensure operating systems are in place to effectively support the accuracy and efficiency of the transactions with the ERP system
- Measure and continually reduce material & inventory data integrity errors in the ERP system
