Position Summary:

Removes painted parts and delivers parts and kits to specified departments. Inspect parts for defects, touches up paint as required.  Conducts paint tests for quality control.

Essential Responsibilities:                                                           

  • Unload product within a warehouse facility.
  • Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or between storage facilities.
  • Meet productivity standards and complete work in timely manner.
  • Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse
  • Adhere to all safety procedures/standards within the course of performing job duties.
  • Conduct inventory check with accuracy and promptness.
  • Properly tag jobs
  • Keep jobs together
  • Inspect parts for defects.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.  Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. 

Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; Good computer skills. Operation monitoring, quality control analysis, critical thinking, active listening, troubleshooting, complex problem solving, equipment maintenance and reading comprehension.

Abilities: Ability to accurately prepare documents, production sheets and other reports and related paperwork as required by our procedures; Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints; Ability to bring assignments to a successful completion; Ability to apply principles of logical thinking of a wide range of practical problems; Ability to work independently and make independent decisions.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Physical Demands:  While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.  Work might entail significant time spent standing, exposure to extreme temperatures, enduring distracting/uncomfortable sounds and noise levels, as well as exposure to potentially hazardous conditions and equipment. Must periodically lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Employee may be required to climb stairs as needed to access various areas of the building.  Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus. Overtime may be necessary as work load’s dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.

Work Environments:  Job requires dealing calmly and effectively with high stress situations.  Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing, pre-employment physical and background checks.
