Piping Foreman

Responsibilities
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Implements a project specific safety plan and attendance sheets
- Creates and updates construction schedule with Project Manager
- Attend project meetings
- Sub-Contractor coordination
- Quality Control on site
- Interact and maintain constant communication with Owner, Engineers, Sub-Contractors and Employees
Requirements: (At a minimum)
- Chilled Water piping experience required.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Outstanding communication
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or ;reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop ,kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with dolly, pallet jack, etc.
If approved be able to drive a company van or pickup.
