As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the processes to produce hydrogen, including operating and controlling various equipment such as furnaces, compressors, and DCS monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control and monitor processes to produce hydrogen, including operating and controlling furnaces, compressors, DCS monitoring systems, rotating equipment, catalyst reactors, water treatment systems, pneumatically operated and manual valves, and pressure swing adsorption skids.
- Troubleshoot operating conditions, respond to customer order rates, and optimize process performance.
- Complete operator rounds, execute minor preventative maintenance, and support mechanical and instrumentation maintenance and projects.
Requirements:
- A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in Process Technology or Engineering is advantageous.
- 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment with chemical processing or petrochemical preferred.
