Our Electrical Administrator will manage and oversee the electrical aspects of projects or the organization. This role involves tasks such as ensuring code compliance, handling permit applications, and maintaining safe electrical systems to ensure that electrical contractors comply with state electrical laws, rules, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Code Compliance: Ensure electrical installations and systems comply with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Permitting: Manage the application process for electrical permits and ensure adherence to local authority requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee the electrical components of construction or maintenance projects.
- Safety: Implement and maintain electrical safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintenance: Coordinate electrical maintenance activities and repairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Training: Train electricians and other relevant personnel on electrical safety and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in project management or administration.
Licensing and Certification:
Candidates must have certification from L&I in the electrical field and hold a Journeyman or Master License.
