CM Heating/AirPros USA is seeking a Fireplace Technician to join our team!

A Fireplace Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fireplaces in residential homes. This includes gas, wood, and pellet stoves. The installer ensures safe and proper operation by following manufacturer specifications and local building codes while providing excellent customer service throughout the installation process.

Key tasks may include:

• Greeting the customer in a friendly manner upon arrival at their home.
• Discuss the installation details with the customer and address any special concerns they may have.
• Installing the product according to specifications and pre-planned requirements, always considering the final presentation.
• Guiding and utilizing a helper or apprentice throughout the installation.
• Ensuring all gas lines, electrical work, venting, clearances, framing, etc., meet company standards.
• Communicating with customers, contractors, managers, salespeople, and manufacturers throughout the installation.
• Striving to complete the job within the scheduled time.

Requirements include:

• Standing, walking, or crawling for extended periods.
• Using hands to handle tools and objects.
• The strength to move heavy stoves and fireplaces.
• The ability to climb ladders up to 50 feet high and move comfortably on roofs of various designs.
• A high level of professional conduct and work ethic.
• Trustworthiness and good self-management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• A keen attention to detail.
• An insurable driving record and a valid driver?s license.
• Must be 21 or older
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $30-38 hour
• The schedule would be M-F f
