POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager will lead our inside and outside sales teams HVAC & plumbing. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing NexStar sales processes, and motivating the team to achieve targets. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Operations to align sales goals with overall company objectives and ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage, mentor, and support inside and outside sales team members.
- Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure team members are well-versed in HVAC and plumbing solutions, customer engagement, and closing strategies.
- Evaluate and monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Champion the NexStar sales process.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts to expand the customer base.

- Analyze market trends and competitors to maintain a competitive edge in HVAC & plumbing services.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
- Run sales calls as needed for capacity management.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Oversee the management of CRM systems to track leads, sales opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Ensure the sales team maintains accurate records of all sales activities.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Budgeting & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and reports for the Director of Operations.
- Monitor and manage sales budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Present progress updates to senior management, identifying challenges and opportunities.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work with the operations, service, and customer support teams to ensure smooth handoff from sales to project execution.
- Coordinate with the Director of Operations to ensure sales strategies align with the companys operational capabilities.
- All other duties as assigned by Director of Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the HVAC, plumbing, or a related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing successful sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
