Air Temp Mechanical Services, Inc. is Connecticut’s largest independent HVAC contractor. We are a full service mechanical contracting firm that specializes HVAC, building management systems (BMS), energy efficiency and advanced energy solutions for commercial buildings and industrial buildings, we design, implement, and evaluate programs that help our clients achieve their energy efficiency goals. We are seeking a dedicated MEP Estimator to join our rapidly expanding team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Calculate costs involved in designing and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for construction projects
- Review project specifications
- Conduct material take-offs
- Prepare cost estimates, analyzing labor and material costs
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Provide accurate estimates to help determine project budgets and timelines
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods and industry standards
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work as a team

Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
