Air Temp Mechanical Services, Inc. is Connecticut’s largest independent HVAC contractor. We are a full service mechanical contracting firm that specializes HVAC, building management systems (BMS), energy efficiency and advanced energy solutions for commercial buildings and industrial buildings, we design, implement, and evaluate programs that help our clients achieve their energy efficiency goals. We are seeking a dedicated Sheetmetal Apprentice to join our rapidly expanding team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- First 90 days of this position will be completed in our warehouse loading/unloading trucks & completing deliveries to job sites.
- Work alongside Sheetmetal Techs to plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble install & repair sheet metal parts and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketched or product specification to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing Sheetmetal
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid CT Driver's License
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certificate
- Good technical skills and willingness to accept and learn from criticism
- Must have tools/drills
- Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in hot & cold conditions
