LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

The Logistics Coordinator will support designated team members, reporting any issues, delays, cost changes, etc. This position will involve interaction with multiple sales teams, factory personnel and other team members to ensure daily inventory management and optimizing various logistics activities, from procurement to distribution to meeting customer demands and organizational goals.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Order Processing : Process incoming orders, verify their accuracy, and coordinate order fulfillment from start to finish.
• Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and initiate replenishment orders as needed to prevent stockouts.
• Vendor Relations : Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.
• Shipping and Receiving : Oversee shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling shipments, tracking deliveries, and managing documentation.
• Route Planning : Develop efficient transportation routes to minimize costs, reduce delivery times and optimize resource utilization.
• Customer Service : Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, provide shipment status updates, and resolve any logistics-related issues promptly.
• Compliance : Ensure that all logistics operations comply with relevant regulations, including safety, customs, and import / export requirements.
• Reporting : Generate and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery rates and cost-effectiveness, and provide regular reports to management.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve logistical challenges and bottlenecks in the supply chain to maintain a smooth flow of goods.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate and organized records of shipments, orders, and inventory levels.
• Input, review, revise and if required, approve CRM orders supporting partial shipments, costs, final destination terms and delivery date.
• Input tracking information for payable transactions, invoicing customers, uploading, and posting invoices. Process charges and upload receipts for tracking and processing.
