Job Title: Machine Shop Support Specialist
The Machine Shop Support Specialist is responsible for performing deburring operations and providing machine shop support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform necessary deburring operations on production and non-production parts, including trimming, deflashing, and sandblasting.
- Operate a bead blaster and tumbler as required.
- Saw raw material and perform general cleaning maintenance on shop equipment.
- Assist machine operators with loading parts.
- Examine cleaned objects to ensure conformance to standards using thermometers, timers, microscopes, inspection equipment, and scales.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of related experience or training preferred.
- Ability to read and write simple sentences.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to loud noise levels. The employee will be regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
