What are the responsibilities and job description for the FACILITY MECHANIC/TOOLING REPAIR position at Airborne Inc?
What you will do :
The GSE / FACILITY MECHANIC / TOOLING REPAIR ensures tools are maintained in a serviceable status through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVM tools and equipment is performed in a timely manner. Tools are maintained in a serviceable status. Provides documentation for tooling needing replaced or sent out for repair. This position will be required to perform, to some degree, maintenance on building systems and maintenance on motorized equipment.
What you need :
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Two (2) year experience in mechanical maintenance field
- Working knowledge of computer-based applications (email, wings, tool catalogs, repair manuals, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to Company safety standards, policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local safety regulations, including but not limited to FAA, TSA, OSHA, EPA, Workers' Compensation and Hazard Communications
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing small tools
- Mechanical and technical skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
