Role Overview :
Aircall is seeking a highly skilled attorney with 5-8 years of experience to support our North American operations. As a key member of the legal team, you will play an essential role in advising and supporting various commercial transactions—including sales, partnerships, and vendor agreements—in North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology transactions and commercial contract negotiations, with a solid understanding of data privacy frameworks. This position reports to the Chief Legal Officer.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drafting and Negotiation : Serve as lead counsel in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements, including Master Services Agreements, software licensing, channel partnerships, reseller agreements, technology development contracts, SaaS agreements, and other commercial contracts.
- Legal Counseling : Act as the primary legal advisor to the North American sales, partnerships, and marketing teams, as well as other departments including IT and product development.
- Risk Management : Identify potential legal risks in contract arrangements and propose strategies to mitigate them, safeguarding the company's interests.
- Regulatory Monitoring : Stay informed about evolving laws and regulations related to commercial transactions, technology, and U.S. data privacy to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Training and Education : Conduct training sessions for employees on legal best practices related to commercial matters and technology transactions.
- Process Improvement : Drive the ongoing enhancement of contract templates and other contracting processes, emphasizing efficiency and scalability.
