Description : Flight Control
Flight Control is responsible for managing the Company's daily flight schedule, from reviewing all flights and bookings from an operational standpoint, to acting as the main point of contact for all PFA pilots, and flight following for every PFA flight both in and off fleet.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to incoming customer emails and telephone calls for all medical and confirmed trips (91 and 135).
- Receive documentation for confirmed flights and secure payment.
- Review aircraft assignment and work with Flight Operations Manager on any operational concerns due to aircraft, flight route, airport, runway restrictions, weather, etc.
- Coordinate aircraft handling with FBOs to include arrangements for fuel, catering, hangar, and after hour services.
- Schedule ground transportation, hotel accommodations for flight crew and / or passengers when applicable.
- Perform flight release procedures.
- Monitor the aircraft in flight and flight following each flight.
- Coordinate with Flight Operations Manager or Crew to plan efficient technical stops, and customs clearances.
- Arrange documentation for customs, transmit eAPIS.
- Provide flight information to passenger / clients when requested.
- Coordinate aircraft schedules according to crew availability, mechanical requirements, and weather.
- Verify crew duty and rest.
- Identify backup and recovery solutions for trips in the event of disruptions.
- Report monthly aircraft trip totals.
- Maintain 30-day flight log and trip sheet binders.
- Greet and accommodate clients arriving / departing from JVY (schedule permitting).
- Provide 24-hour service for all customer needs.
- Contract with other operators when our fleet is not available.
- Perform other duties assigned by Flight Operations Manager, Director of Operations, General Manager, and Owner.
- Provide The Ultimate Client Experience to all customers.
- Re-evaluate work on an ongoing basis to improve performance.
- Must demonstrate good judgment, consistent with the position and corporate culture.
- Demonstrate strong communications among the other Sales team members and Flight Coordinators.
