What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Painter/Tech position at Aircraft Structures International Corp (ASIC)?
ASIC is hiring for an Aircraft Painter. Work hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Strips surfaces of aircraft and components in preparation of repainting, using both chemical and mechanical means.
- Prepares surfaces of aircraft, components and fabricated parts for the application of primer.
- Performs dent removal and application of plastic filler to surfaces.
- Prepares surface of aircraft and components for finish paint.
- Mixes primers and paints.
- Performs repairs on fiberglass surfaces.
- Maintains paint spraying equipment.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in aircraft or auto paint shop preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
Background Check and Drug screening required once offer is made.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
