Installation Technician

Aire Serv (a Neighborly brand) is expanding and hiring residential HVAC Install technicians with varying degrees of experience. Installers are key members of our team who are responsible for the quality and efficient installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems as well as knowledge of rooftop commercial units. Installers may be asked to take on service and maintenance duties if needed. Ideal candidates have prior experience in the HVAC industry, have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

Compensation: $30-40/HR (based on experience)

Specific Responsibilities:

• Focus on Installation of residential split systems, multi-unit housing with air handlers and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Occasional service and maintenance of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems
• Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary parts, equipment & professional grade tools
• Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Complete invoices, customer notes, and weekly reports as required
• Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Requirements:

• HVAC certification
• Minimum 1 year of installation experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Insurable driving record
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Ability to take direction and follow written and verbal directions as given
• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
• Strong communication skills and commitment to follow all customer work rules
• Professional personal appearance
• Must have basic computer skills and be able to utilize mobile device throughout the work day
• Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time
• Insure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
• Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.
