Spears is looking for a Director of Operations and Business Development, that is ready to make a real difference and help grow their business to the next level.
As the Director, you will report directly to the President and oversee all operations and business development for the company. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the HVAC business (or other similar residential and commercial service business) and have experience in business management, development, sales, and business accounting.
As the General Manager, your responsibilities include :
- Team building and development of leadership for future growth and expansion.
- Managing key metrics including technician efficiency, gross margin, labor, and quality standards.
- Oversee and lead company operations.
- Marketing including advertisements and promotions.
- Overseeing and / or managing web presence and reviews.
- Managing Gross Margin goals.
- Vendor management.
- Create and implement plans to increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Weekly leadership meetings.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Payroll, and HR functions.
- Oversee external maintenance and service functions.
- Site visits for reviewing seeing technicians in the field.

We have a heavy foodservice equipment and refrigeration / air conditioning operation, including the following : Servicing refrigerated food cases, walk in coolers & freezers and ice machines. We also service hot side equipment such as commercial ovens, fryers, and stoves. The business also has an electrical service & repair operation catering to commercial & residential customers. Another area is our automated digital control division. This division focuses on providing our customers with both operational and energy savings through proper management of both their heating and air conditioning systems.

Compensation : $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
We believe in our technicians really knowing the systems in and out. Not only what causes a system to fail but why it failed, what part caused the problem.
