Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities
The Aireon Internship Program is an opportunity for students to be a part of the Aireon teams that are making groundbreaking advancements in global air traffic surveillance. As an Intern, you’ll begin making an impact on real projects from day one! Come prepared to grow, develop, and learn alongside a team and the leaders of our company. The Aireon Internship program is a 12-week program that runs from May 27, 2025, to August 15, 2025. During the program, interns will have the opportunity to provide valuable support to an Aireon department on a project or important work assignment. Interns will also be provided an opportunity to engage with senior leadership and fellow interns through regular engagement activities.
The intern will develop an understanding of Product Development applications, how improvements in infrastructure help efficiency and people, and understand infrastructure need to support applications.

What You'll Do
- Attend daily and weekly meetings.
- Contribute to artifacts leading to understanding of architecture.
- Produce documentations/technical architecture diagrams.
- Work on technical items infrastructure/code to understand the overall system.
- Improve efficiencies in custom and out-of-the-box solutions.
- Brainstorm on critical opportunities and problems.
- Critical thinking.
- Knowledge on how technical architectures work to support the business.
- How to present/visualize issues and convey business and technical value to stakeholders.
Experience & Education Requirements / EEO
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have a technical background.
- AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications.
- Code in a single programming language preferably python/.NET/Java/JavaScript.
- UI/UX Design Skills.
- Ability to create visualizations to show Architecture.

- Will collaborate with architects, developers and infrastructure personnel.
- Will collaborate on Microsoft Teams or similar technologies.
- Use Jira/Azure DevOps to collaborate on work items.
- Meet in person as needed to produce work items.
