Job Title: Sales Manager
Established Central Arkansas air flow products manufacturer seeks a Sales Manager to oversee all sales-related activities.
This position will be responsible for developing market strategies, evaluating market conditions, and recommending policy and product changes to achieve sales growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market segments and the industry's competitive landscape, with the ability to recognize trends and make informed decisions when crafting sales strategies.
- Maintaining current sales with existing accounts
- Planning and executing growth strategies with existing accounts
- Planning and executing acquisition strategies for new accounts
- Recommending pricing structures
- Recommending product development/expansion/enhancement for increased product competitiveness
- Identifying needed marketing materials
Additional Responsibilities:
- Managing customer service team
- Quotation activity
- Price questions
- Market feedback
- Representatives/agents
- Following up on sales targets/new account solicitations
- Following up on plans for new accounts
- Attending and managing trade show activities
- B.S. or A.S. degree in Engineering preferred
- 5 years of technical sales experience
- Mechanical engineering aptitude required
- Ability to travel 3-4 days per month
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to write and speak professionally
- Experience reviewing RFQs
- Experience structuring and writing proposals, bids, and quotations
- Outside sales experience
- Team supervision experience
- Good computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
- Contractor/building products experience
- Selling to industrial accounts experience
- Selling technical products experience
