How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Description Summary: The Supply Chain Analyst will support the Supply Chain & Logistics team in all aspects including reporting, analytics, communication and developing strategies to support the bulk business. The role requires strong organization and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently with changing priorities, and support for Airgas Integrated Bulk Operations (IBO) initiatives.

• Develop and own the documentation of AMG supply chain processes. Support the Airgas Integrated Bulk Operations (IBO) initiatives. Identify opportunities within the Supply Chain to eliminate/reduce risks. Assist in the reliability and efficiency of distribution operations using analysis and operations research tools such as optimization, simulation and data analysis. Help cultivate continuous improvement with regard to customer service and customer satisfaction.

• Assist Senior Manager in weekly production and inventory planning. Daily coordination with the ROCC (Remote Operations Control Center) and ASU Plant Managers to optimize inventory management ensuring product availability. Create the weekly supply plan and conduct the weekly supply chain call.

• Act as a backup to the National Trade and/or ASU Supply Chain Manager to communicate outages and supply issues with competitors. Complete scenario planning to assist when there are source outages. Evaluate the operational costs associated with both scheduled maintenance and unexpected outage events, leveraging the supply chain to manage these costs more effectively by utilizing internal resources and inventory to balance supply and demand.

• Continuously assess and enhance supply chain processes, incorporating best practices and innovative solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Continuous improvement with regard to customer service and customer satisfaction.
