Location:
Plumsteadville, PA (SGHCLS) - Healthcare - TGM - TherapeuticsHow will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?The blender/filler will be responsible for transfilling and blending various gases into cylinders.Blend, and when necessary, transfill and pack disposable and returnable cylinders.
Calculations for all blends.
Prepare cylinders according to cGMP and DOT requirements.
Perform special analytical and/or technical projects, as directed by the Work Cell Leader.
Suggest new ideas for process improvement and help with implementation where applicable.
Work with the team to reach pre-defined production and quality goals which foster continuous improvement.
Follow manufacturing procedures in compliance with cGMP requirements.
Write custom manufacturing procedures (CMP's) when required.
Complete nonconforming product forms for any/all damaged raw materials in the production process.
Complete production paperwork accurately.
Work in other production areas as directed by Work Cell Leader
Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment.
Complete all training activities successfully and on time.
Learn and understand hazards of various gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
Accurately label cylinders and boxes.
Comply with Training, safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position's responsibilities.
Movement of cylinders as required in the plant. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Completes all documentation and forms in compliance with cGMP's policy and FDA requirements during the fill process.
Maintains a neat, clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
Adheres to all quality assurance policies and standards.
Reports accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.
Fills cylinders, high and low pressure, in accordance with safety procedures and quality.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum 1 year experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Ability to coordinate efforts with multiple departments.
Aptitude for high precision work.
Ability to work with others in a team environment to meet the facilities goals.
Ability to operate forklift and maintain forklift certifications.
Ability to follow directions, make decisions, work as a team, and be reliable.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Able to operate a forklift.
