What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse/Quality Associate position at AIRLINE HYDRAULICS CORPORATION?
The Warehouse/Quality Associate will be responsible for daily warehouse/quality support tasks as bulleted below. The employee will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Employee reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship inventory as well as receive inventory from vendors
- Work with all other departments to coordinate and assure customer requirements, and expectations are fulfilled, and conflicts are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer
- Perform other related duties and assignments as directed by management and as listed in SOP
- COC/COO or other order-specific documentation and related inspection and labeling
- NC processing
- Warehouse email – monitor for those issues needing urgent attention, specific activity, or knowledge
- General problem-solving and resolution regarding inventory, invoicing, and logistic issues (in receiving, stocking, picking, checking, packing, and shipping)
- Provide general warehouse process support
- Process inventory adjustments, bin adjustments, verification of items
- RMA processing
- Customer Incident processing
- Onsite support for operating systems and equipment (IT liaison, P21, computers, scanners, printers, shipping stations, Clippership, etc)
- Assist with problem ticket resolution as time permits
- Deliver product to local customers on occasion
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse/quality experience is preferred
- Detail oriented
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- A valid driver’s license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck
- Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment.
- Previous experience in fluid power, industrial, or electrical distribution preferred
- Knowledge of fluid power and/or automation and/or motion control products is a preferred
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts
- Excellent telephone personality with proven ability to maintain customer relationships
- ERP, Epicor P21 and B2B experience is preferred
- Highly proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Capable of handling multiple high-pressure tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
