Description
Airline Vending Services is seeking to hire Vending Route Delivery Drivers to service locations throughout New York. We are a growing leader in the vending machine sector and looking to welcome individuals with a high level of customer service and quality work ethic to join our winning team. Our new team members will utilize company vehicles (vans) to deliver and fill vending machines with snacks, meals, and beverages to multiple locations daily- along a designated route. **Each shift will depart and end at our Whitestone-Queens, NY location**
Primary responsibilities:
- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines
- Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations for vending machines
- Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance
- Alert management of any issues noticed with the machines or product, and inform of any customer suggestions or complaints
- Loading, unloading, transporting, and stocking vending machines with food or beverages to multiple locations daily
- Collaborate with customers to answer questions and satisfy the placement and stocking needs of the vending machines
- Maintain a clean, well-organized service van
- Maintain accurate records
- Perform other duties as needed in support of business inclusive of loading and unloading delivery vans as a warehouse helper
Requirements
- Must have a class D/Auto Drives license (CDL NOT REQUIRED), with at least a continuous three (3) year clean driving record. No Provisional or restricted Licenses will be accepted- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Prior Experience preferred
- Must be comfortable operating large vehicles (van) daily
- Must present well- have a neat and tidy appearance, and the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Must be able to adhere within all company drug screening policies and guideline
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling and walking for prolong periods (frequent travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day)
- The strength to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Shift: Monday through Friday shifts- with some weekends
Salary : $25 - $27
