SUMMARY:

Receives, stores, and distributes manufactured products within the warehousing facilities by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensures orders to be loaded are inspected to ensure the accuracy of the product.

· Operates reach trucks and forklifts as needed to remove skids and product to staging or storage areas.

· Operates all computers and scanners to record products being stored, moved, or shipped.

· Ensures proper marking is on boxes and labels.

· Processes UPS and air freight shipments to required procedures.

· Floor loads trailers at a pace equal to that of the product pickers.

· Maintains attendance company standards.

· Responsible for reporting food safety problems to management.

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum of three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports in English. Ability to speak effectively with company employees and supervisors in English.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Basic computer skills

· Upholds and supports organizational goals and values.

· Take the initiative to ask for and offer help when needed.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSE:

· Airlie Plastics Forklift license is required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is seasonally and moderately exposed to humid conditions and heat. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to a height of 8-10 feet and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and talk or hear. Candidates selected for this position will be required to complete and pass a Post Offer Physical unless coming from a similar position.
