JOB SUMMARY:
The HR Generalist is a key member of the HR team and will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support to the Company, they will report to the Director of HR. The Generalist will be part of an HR team based out of Milford, NH supporting the following functions: payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance reviews, employee related events. In addition, supporting functions with payroll and benefits using ADP and IFS.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Between 3-5 years of HR experience. Working in a manufacturing environment is beneficial. Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
RECRUITING:
Responsible for recruitment and the entire hiring process for hourly positions and exempt roles as needed. Including:
Familiarity with really recruitment and working with external vendors is a plus
Own the end-to-end recruitment process for manufacturing and hourly production roles
Develop and post job advertisements, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments
Extend job offers and prepare offer letters
Facilitate New Hire Orientation, including benefits overview, facility tours, and introductions
Administer new hire paperwork, onboarding documentation, and building access
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and onboarding records
Complete E-Verify process for all employees
Other duties as assigned and in support of business needs
The support of payroll and benefits includes preferred experience with the following:
Assist as needed with the management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, computing wages, and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
Assist in ADP for employee payroll changes
Assist as needed with annual payments for merit increases, 401K Employer Match and company discretionary bonus program
Prepares payroll batches for employee referral, tuition reimbursement and disability wages
Assist in payroll and benefits audits as needed
Completes timely and accurate wage verification requests
Other duties as assigned and in support of business needs
The oversight of benefit administration for Production employees including:
Assist in benefit invoices against payroll deductions
Benefit administration of worker’s compensation, FMLA, STD, and Personal Leaves of Absence.
Assist with benefits administration beginning with new enrollments, new hires, qualifying life events and annual open enrollment
Other duties as assigned and in support of business needs
Additional Preferred Experience:
Employee relations
Experience with a Performance Management process including annual reviews and bonus programs
Project work as required
