What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detailer position at AIRMART INC?

- Experience with a commercial polisher and buffer
- Familiar with wax and polishing compounds
- Familiar with special detailing needs of aircraft
- Experience towing and moving aircraft
- Able to get an aircraft AOA badge-No felonies in the last 10 years
- IDEAL candidate would be a commercial pilot, but it is not required
Responsibilities

- Washes, waxes and buffs airplanes
- Vacuum, steam cleans, and treats aircraft interiors
- Makes minor cosmetic improvements and repairs if requested
- Removes and installs aircraft decals
- Tows aircraft in and out of hangar with the help of a spotter
- Ferries aircraft (if qualified)
- General facilities maintenance (i.e. clean floors, salt walkways in winter, change lightbulbs, etc.)
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly checklists (including arrivals and departures checklists)
- Complete weekly audit of aircraft, logbooks, headsets, and keys.
- Weekly audit of aircraft registration cards
- Maintain stock of aircraft cleaning supplies
- Puts together Detailing Kits sold with planes
- Coordinates laundering of towels with vendor, etc.
- Attends weekly arrival/departure meetings and updates maintenance calendar
- Keeps accurate HOBBS times of leased planes
- Keep company planes and cars cleaned, maintained, and fueled
- Makes sure that logbooks are stored securely
- Handles logistics of positioning aircraft
