What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Airport Diner?
The Airport Diner is an iconic family restaurant in Manchester New Hampshire featuring classic comfort and diner cuisine.
The Airport Diner is looking to add a couple of service professionals that are up for the challenge of ensuring the guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the restaurant to the time they leave. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, well spoken, motivated and a team player. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right person.
Host duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
- Maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service
- Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
- Managing take out via phone and tablet
- Menu knowledge for taking orders and properly packaging
- Assisting servers with bussing tables
- Operate POS system
- Accept customer payment by cash or credit card
- General housekeeping duties

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
