What’s the Job?
This is an entry level position. No prior experience is required. AirPro will train all the necessary skills to be a successful designer at AirPro.
- Use SolidWorks to design industrial air moving equipment matching customer requirements.
- Use internal and vendor-based programs to select components for custom designed fans.
- Prepare drawings for manufacturing and customer use.
- Create inventory parts and bills-of-material using ERP business software.
- Communicate with coworkers and customers to aid in the manufacturing of high-quality products.
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements
This position is performed in an office environment. The noise level is usually low. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Occasional shop floor time is required to help troubleshoot manufacturing challenges. Must be able to maneuver in a manufacturing environment. There may be moderate to high noise levels while in the shop.
Job Duties & Skills
To be successful in this job with AirPro, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Use specifications, sketches, and customer documents to generate fan and related air handling equipment models/drawings in SolidWorks.
- Verify dimensional integrity, materials, part relations, and assembly relations for custom designed equipment.
- Process drawing corrections and design change requests as required.
- Communicate with coworkers to resolve errors and provide additional information as required.
- Communicate with sales personnel and other departments to resolve order related issues.
- Use approved safety glasses, safety shoes and hearing protection when in the shop.
- Perform all job duties in a manner safe to self and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
