Manages general business operations of the Cody, WY sales office and provides general support to the sales staff.

  • Significant computer skills required, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and the business software used for sales order processing.
  • Must be highly organized as many details and much information will be handled in this job and must be dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be very motivated to succeed no matter the circumstances.
  • Business knowledge including comprehension of profit/loss, different business types (original equipment manufacturer, contractor, user, consulting engineer, dealer, etc.), etc. is required.
  • Effective written and oral communicator
  • Ability to effectively use web-conferencing for sales and training purposes
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with coworkers, reps, and customers
  • Ability to collaborate and share ideas, propose strategies, and identify solutions related to business operations
  • Ability and willingness to support sales team members by assisting with workload as requested or required
  • Ability to work under time pressures and deadlines
Physical Requirements
This position performs in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls. Tasks require a variety of physical activities, generally involving some muscular strain, such as walking, standing, stooping, sitting, reaching, lifting, talking, hearing, and seeing. Common eye, hand, and finger dexterity required. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal and written instructions, and discriminating thinking.
Job Duties & Skills
To be successful in this job with AirPro, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of office.
  • Answers phone calls, schedules meetings and supports visitors.
  • Screens calls and e-mails to the general sales contact phone number and e-mail address and distributes to the appropriate sales staff member or sales representative.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Makes travel arrangements for sales staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, and placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Manages myAirPro user accounts.
  • Produces basic sales quotes.
  • Load sales quotes into Customer Relations Management program, generate sales reports for each salesperson and distribute reports, follow up with customers to ensure adequate service.
  • Get reports on sales representative activities from each rep office.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Administrative Assistant or Office Management preferred but not required.
  • Work experience as an administrative assistant or office manager preferred, but not required.
