What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate - Managed position at Airshare?
The Sales Associate has a fundamental role in creating the first impression, achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. They will drive new business through lead generation, outbound prospecting, and phone selling. Performs all sales support and assists with marketing functions. Primarily this will be Mon-Fri, daytime hours, working in the office in Overland Park, KS. However, you must be flexible to work outside of regular office hours, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Collaborate and support VP Sales personnel for Aircraft Management to move prospective buyers through the sales cycle
- Generate new sales leads through a variety of techniques with an emphasis on outbound calling
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interactions and customer information within Salesforce
- Qualify inbound leads through marketing campaigns, self-generated, and seasoned leads identified by the company
- Create a desire for our programs by keeping up to date on industry/product changes and sharing our unique valuable proposition
- Understand and uncover customer latent needs and requirements
- Ask questions that position Airshare as a strong option/solution
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, collect, and analyze competitors
- Prepare custom proposals, documents, customer letters, sales presentations, etc.
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects through research and general business awareness and trends
- Assist the marketing department with guest lists for statics and other events in the region, when applicable
Qualified candidates will have a bachelors degree in business and/or 2 years of inside sales experience. Must have excellent verbal/written communication and computer skills. Organized with consistent follow-up and travel may be necessary.
- Must have Aviation industry experience
- CRM experience preferred
- Must have Cold calling experience
