The Warranty Claims Analyst collaborates directly with dealers to manage and monitor warranty claims.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
As a Warranty Claims Analyst at Airstream, you will play a pivotal role in improving the experience for both Airstream dealers and customers. Your duties will encompass direct collaboration with our dealers to manage and ensure the efficiency of the warranty process, as well as assist in the optimization of this process. Additionally, you will provide support to the Owner Relations team as needed with their daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Collects data for weekly and monthly reports and analyzes warranty trends.
- Assists in managing lawsuits by collaborating with our attorney, gathering pertinent information, obtaining the facts, and following up under their guidance and advice.
- Authorizes and approves warranty claims and provides instructions to new associates.
- Develops and maintains flat rates and/or policy and procedure manuals.
- Responds to dealers' mail, emails, and telephone inquiries, taking the necessary actions to ensure satisfactory service by company policies and procedures.
- Engages with customers visiting the factory, addressing their questions related to warranty issues or resolving disputes regarding warranty decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook required.
- Experience with AutoCAD a plus.
- Must have strong organization, communication, troubleshooting, reasoning, and leadership skills.
- Must be able to read blueprints and interpret design intent
- 2-year Engineering or Business degree preferred, but equivalent experience accepted.
- Technical troubleshooting will be of particular importance as more and more products advance in “Smart and Connected” technology.
