The Brand Creative team at Airtable tackles everything from web experiences, feature launches, campaigns, customer storytelling, sales enablement, and event experiences. As a group of multi-disciplinary creatives, and a part of the broader Airtable design organization, each team member brings their unique experience and perspective to the table. We’re looking for an experienced web designer to join our humble, talented and deeply thoughtful crew of designers.
What you'll do
Lead the design of easy-to-use, performant, and compelling web experiences, supporting partners across marketing, product, and sales
Understand the technical, creative, and temporal constraints of a project, making pragmatic tradeoffs with stakeholders
Contribute to and maintain our interactive design system used across our digital properties
Participate in the full project lifecycle from ideation, to handoff, to launch
Collaborate with stakeholders via regular reviews and working sessions
Who you are
You have 5 years of experience as a web designer at either an agency or in-house environment, for consumer or B2B brands
You have a stellar portfolio with examples of web work showcasing high quality digital experiences
You can conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and efficiency to complex problems
You display a sensitivity for user-system interaction and are up-to-date with industry-standard web technologies
You have experience working with design systems
You have experience leading a project from start to finish and can facilitate meaningful conversations between design and development
You have previously worked with in-house design and development teams
You can define and propose projects in addition to designing them
You have demonstrated critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
You are proactive, clear, and thoughtful in your communication with team members and stakeholders
You are a team player who can prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills, and experience.

For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is :
157,000 — $205,000 USD
