AirTech HVAC is a well-established air conditioning and heating company that has been servicing the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas since 1988 and we are expanding our business to include an in-house electrician. This career opportunity is for year-round, full-time consistent and reliable work.
These are the skills we are looking for in you:
Job Requirements:
- Minimum seven years of documented experience in residential service calls, troubleshooting and repair
- Troubleshooting and repair, panel upgrades, EV charger installations, new circuit installations, lighting design and installation, whole house rewires
- Repair malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses and replacing defective wiring
- Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors and other electrical equipment
- Use industry related hand tools and power tools
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, etc.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- Delegate tasks and assist with training other employees
- Maintain workflow to ensure project objectives are met
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand 80% of the day
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Possess good vision (normal or corrected)
