Airtech International is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at our Springfield, TN facility. This role is critical in ensuring operational reliability, equipment efficiency, and a proactive maintenance approach in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring equipment and facilities operate at peak performance while developing a high-performing maintenance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick, effective repairs.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall plant efficiency.
- Manage and maintain spare parts inventory to support maintenance operations while optimizing cost control.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, promoting a safety-first culture.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve maintenance processes.
- Track and analyze maintenance KPIs, using data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Proven leadership experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Hands-on experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and act quickly.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with other departments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and adapt to changing priorities.
